Topics include polar coordinates
in Euclidean 3space, general matrix
algebra, determinants, vector space concepts for Euclidean nspace (e.g.,
linear dependence and independence, basis, dimension, linear
transformations, etc.), an introduction to eigenvalues and eigenvectors.
The text will be Anton and Rorres,
Elementary Linear Algebra, Applications
Version (latest edition).
The final grade will be based on assignments, term tests and a
final exam.
