AS/SC/ MATH 1505 6.0

Mathematics for the Life and Social Sciences

      A presentation of the elements of single-variable differential and integral calculus, elementary linear algebra and introductory probability and statistics. This course is designed to provide a comprehensive mathematical background for students of the biological and social sciences. Emphasis is placed on basic mathematical skills and their applications.
      See the above. We include a brief introduction to several variable calculus and differential equations.

Prerequisite:At least one OAC in mathematics or AS/SC/MATH 1510 6.0.
