The deadline for submitting application forms and supporting documentation to N519 Ros is: NSERC: October 15/98, OGS: November 13/98. It is the student's responsibility to ensure that all documentation is forwarded to the department. NSERC Scholarships

PGS A Scholarships for the first and second years of graduate study Persons who are in their last year of undergraduate studies, in a qualifying year for graduate studies, or in their first year of a graduate programme. Normally the awards are tenable for 2 years.

The applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada. The applicant must have an overall first-class average (A) in the last two completed years of study. The applicant must hold, or expect to hold at the time they take up the award, a degree in science or engineering from a university whose academic standing is acceptable to NSERC; and pursue full-time postgraduate study and research at the master's level in the natural sciences or engineering in the following year.

Ontario Graduate Scholarships This competition is open to students who have at least an A average in each of their last two years of study and who intend to undertake graduate studies in Ontario in 1999-2000.
