Title: " Model Comparison and Selection in Cure Rate Estimation "

Abstract:
Cure rate models become popular in recent years in statistical literature. We
have seen many developments not only in the classical mixture model setting
but also in a newer proportional hazards setting. In this talk, I will review
the developments and focus on the differences between the two types of cure
models. Some results on model selection will be presented. I will also demonstrate
an application of the model selection in a leukemia study.
