Name: Michaël Kwong Hin Sang. Graduated class of 1996 from York University, Toronto, Canada, with a double honours bachelor degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, and a diploma in Operational Research/Management Science. Student in work/study.

A CASE STUDY of MiK: CASE STUDY 1

An example is a goal programming problem for a trip around the world in 79 days! This is a Mik's game-theory-queued-into-practice :)

To solve this case study, initially, an algorithmic allocation of cents has to be developed prior to using several deterministic modelling spreadsheets and mathematical techniques that were applied on models that are well structured with equations describing changes in state and having parameters all fitting several statistical tests, amongst which my preferred one is Goodness-of-Fit test, with these latter test results based on grounds of satisfying confidence interval levels of all the different probability distributions modelled on data collected for years, and all these being followed by an empirical decision of the optimum deterministic or, most probably, probabilistic design of the most effective system of highest usability and closely-satisfying existing constraints, that will altogether have to give an optimum simulation that would necessarily yield final results agreeing to a Data Envelopment Analysis technique applicable to a real world trip plan, and consequently rendering positive results to MiK's simple satisfaction. ;)
