Applied Multivariate and Vector Calculus

This course involves the differentiation and integration of scalar and vector functions of (up to) 3 independent variables, with applications. Topics include partial derivatives, Taylor series and extrema of multivariate functions; curves and surfaces in cartesian, cylindrical, and spherical polar coordinate systems; single, double, and triple integrals; grad, div, curl and laplacian operators; differential vector identities; line, surface, and volume integrals; Green's, Gauss' and Stokes' theorems.
