[S] smoother spline cv values

when using the smoother.spline function with data in which there are
multiple y-values for each x (i.e. replicate x values), the smooth seems to
be based on the mean values of y for each unique x and weights that are the
number of replicate values per x (is this true?).
If this is true, then does the function use these weights in estimating the
final cross validation score (i.e. the cv.crit value)?
If it does not, then any point-wise confidence intervals that use the
cv.crit value will be wrong.
