Dear S+ Friends;

I have a simple question. Usually, if you type the name of a
data.frame, say, xxx.df, then its content will be printed on the screen,
together with the row-numbers. For example,
> var1 var2 var3
1 xxx xxx xxx
2 xxx xxx xxx
3 xxx xxx xxx
4 xxx xxx xxx

My question is: is there a way to hide this numbering of the rows of
xxx.df so that the display will look like:
> var1 var2 var3
xxx xxx xxx
xxx xxx xxx
xxx xxx xxx
xxx xxx xxx

Sincerely yours

Ming Ji
