If you have two curves f(x) and g(x) you could try using the function
uniroot to solve for a value of x where f(x)-g(x)=0. You'll need to be
careful if the curves cross in more than one place.

Dear S+ Friends:

Are there ways other than using the command locator() to get the
coordinates of an intersection point of two curves? locator() is not
very easy to use and can not get accurate coordinates.

Thanks
