[S] Plotting and skewness

I am using S-Plus to generate plots of theoretical distributions for an
introductory biostats course that I'm teaching in the fall. So far, so
good, but I'm wondering if there is any relatively simple way to generate
data/plots with specific skewness or kurtosis values? For example, I would
like to show a series of density plots that show how the tail lengthens to
the right as skewness increases.

Thanks!
