I've built an Splus dialog menu for a frequently used Splus function at my
company. Now I'd like to expand its user friendliness by allowing the user
to select as inputs the data frame and variables within the data frame much
like our Splus toolbar menus provide a drop down list of data frames and
then a list of variable names within the selected data frame. It's my
understanding from MathSoft that TXPROP_DataFrames and
TXPROP_DataFrameColumnsND are Splus internal resource property objects that
will do the job. Unfortunately, even MathSoft's simple example doesn't work
on my PC like they say it does for them, so I've been unable to successfully
use these property objects.

Has anyone successfully written a menu driven function where the user can
select the data frame and variables of interest to input? If so, can you
share some hints?
