[S] Too Frequent Illegal Operations

Hi S-Plusers,

I'm becoming very frustrated with S-Plus's frequent crashes for no apparent
reason. I have a couple of plotting functions that work fine when I plot
most things, but then crash with the following message when I plot other
columns of the same matrix. For example I can plot S, Se, Na.... but not
fine mass in one function. In another that plots back trajectories, I can
plot days 245, 246....303, but when I try to plot 304, it crashes. It does
not matter if the offending data is the first or nth thing plotted. When I
look at the data, the columns that cause the crashes look no different than
the columns that plot ok. Any hints?????

I'm running S-Plus 4.5, July 1998 release on Win98, PII 350 MHz with 128
Megs Ram.

Thanks, Kristi
