“The Southern Ontario Regional Association of SSC, jointly with The Applied Biostatistics Association, SAS Canada, the University of Toronto, and York University, proudly present:

The Third Annual SORA / TABA Workshop on Health Economics


Age-old questions such as:

  1. What services/products should we offer?
  2. Using what resources?
  3. Delivered to whom in our client base?
  4. How do we do so efficiently?

are faced by the finance, insurance, and manufacturing sectors as well as health service providers. This one-day workshop is designed to enhance participants’ knowledge in statistical methods utilized to answer the above questions*. Lecture style presentations are followed by hands-on computer workshops where discussed methods are applied to real-world data.

* The issues to be discussed and the methods presented in this workshop will be of primary interest to those concerned with the Health Services sector.


Intended for applied statisticians in business and biostatistics.
Registration fee is $95 per person, lunch included.
