i agrees with the possibility of the coma's to be a result of an information
overload, mentioned earlier my mary anne... but there is also the chance that
it could be as a result of an infinite loop that the mind goes through once
presented with the statement or "riddle". I think that cherniak is basically
showing how the human mind would operate if it were finite and given an
infinite situation that could not be proven to be true.
