All lectures and tutorials in this course were completed as originally scheduled, with more than 90% of the students (generally) in attendance. There will be no additional formal lectures.
2. All problem sets have been graded and returned. No one will be penalized for assignments due during the strike which were not handed in: The average for each student will be calculated based on those sets which were due before the strike, plus any later sets that were handed in.
3. Notes from the lectures that took place during the strike, as well as solutions to all problem sets, may be borrowed for photocopying from 122PS or from my office.
4. About 80% of the class wrote term test 2, which was held on Wednesday, November 8. All students may write the make-up for this test, which will be held on Monday, January 22 at 2:30 in CCB 115. Alternatively, students are free to re-assign the 20% of the final grade originally assigned to test 2 to their final exam, which will therefore be counted for 20% more.
Teat 2 is based on the material covered in topics 4 and 5 of the course outline.
5. I will be available in CCB 115 at 2:30 on Fridays to answer students' questions.
