Introduction and chapter 1.
|Read the introduction and chapter one of the text. Also answer the
following questions (answers), as well as 1.48 and 1.65 from the
NB: There are many ways to create the graphs. The easiest is by using Minitab - your textbook has detailed instructions, and you can get access to Minitab here. You can choose to use any program you want though, or you can do these by hand (I don't really recommend the latter). If you wish to use Excel, I can post detailed instructions - just ask. However, Excel is not very "friendly" when it comes to statistics graphing. Note that the CD in your textbook has all of the datasets from the exercises in many formats.

This is an important chapter, so I urge you to attend. No lecture notes will
be posted for this chapter (ie. all blackboard work). Please note that we will not
be covering the continuity correction. A2 was returned.
