MathLab **: The Math and Stats Lab provides tutorial help for MATH 1013 (and other courses). The MathLab will open starting September 16.
Hours of operation are MTWRF 10:30-15:30 in Ross S525.

50% **Midterm exams**: There will be three midterm exams during the term. All the midterms will be held in Lassonde B.
Detailed exam syllabi will be posted about one week before each exam date. There will be no makeup midterms.
If you miss a midterm exam and have a valid excuse (with an acceptable documentation),
the exam will not be taken into account when computing the overall exam average. The dates for the midterms are:

- First midterm exam: Monday October 7, 2013. The material for the first test includes
all the sections covered in class up to Friday Sep 27. That is sections 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.5, 1.6, Appendix D, 2.1 and 2.2 of the book.

- Second midterm exam: Monday October 28, 2013. The material for the second test includes
all the sections covered in class from Monday Sep 30 up to Monday Oct 21 (except 2.4). That is sections 2.3, 2.5, 2.6, 2.7, 2.8, 3.1, 3.2,
3.3, 3.4 and 3.6 (except logarithmic differentiation) of the book.

50% **Final Exam**: The final exam will be comprehensive. It will be held on Saturday December 21 from 2pm to 5pm
