## Grades for the second midterm

Marks get adjusted and then converted to letter grades only at the end of the course. But people need feedback about how they're doing, and that is the purpose of this page.
If you convert your score on the second midterm (out of 100) into a letter grade according to the following ranges, you will get my rough prediction of your final course grade (assuming that you continue to perform at this level). For people in the E range, this should be a wake-up call: you need to work more problems in the hope that the final exam will push you up into a passing grade.
- 90-100: A+
- 80-89: A
- 75-79: B+
- 70-74: B
- 65-69: C+
- 60-64: C
- 54-59: D+
- 47-53: D
- 35-46: E
- 0-34: F

The following is a stem and leaf plot, representing all the scores on the first midterm.
