Equivalencies between editions of the text
In the following, problems from Kochman's Single Variable Calculus 2nd edition appear first.
In this table, 2E means the second edition, and 1E means the preliminary edition.
The equivalent problem appears alongside it in brackets.
Numbers refer to Basic Problems, unless preceded by CP (for Challenging Problems).
If a problem from the second edition is not listed, that means that I didn't find an equivalent problem from the preliminary edition.
Students can use these equivalencies to make use of Mishkin's solution manual (for the preliminary edition of the text), when using the current (2nd) edition of the text. Note that the equivalencies cover ALL problems from the text, not just the problems assigned for homework.
