# What is Expected of the Student

• It is your responsibility to attend all the lectures.
• The TAs will provide tutorial sessions to solve problems similar to assignments.
• Solutions to the assignments will be provided on the web once the assignments are collected. If you have questions in lectures or homework, please come to my office hours. Don't wait till the end of the term.

Re-evaluation of Assignment/ Midterm:

• Assignments: If you feel you deserve more marks on the assignments, determine where and how many marks you believe you deserve. Document this clearly on the homework paper and attach a covering page. DO NOT hand in at that time and wait till the end of the term, then hand in all assignments together for re-evaluation. If the total cumulative change exceeds 1% then submit them. The deadline for submission will be the date for the final exam.
• Tests: Immediately look through the paper when they are returned to you in class. If you feel you deserve more marks, you MUST give the paper back to me at the end of the class. I will photocopy it and return the original to you. You then submit your documented appeal (same as described for homework) to me within 2 weeks after the return of the test papers in class.
