The hotel is conveniently located just off of Yonge Street in North York at the North York Centre subway stop. York University is easily accessible by subway north to Finch station and then to York by any #60 bus. The 60 C and F buses come directly on to the campus; the other #60 buses stop on Steeles Avenue just north of the campus. The stop for York is one stop past Keele Street. The walk south to the conference location is about 5 minutes. Bus or subway fare (transfers are free) costs $2 for a single ride. Blocks of tickets are sold at a reduced rate. Tickets are purchased at subway stops and are not sold on buses. Tickets or exact cash fare are required on buses. The ride to York takes about 35 minutes.
York can also be reached by taxi (about 15 minutes). The fare is approximately $12.
The room rates at the Novotel are $95 Cdn plus 12% tax per night for singles and doubles. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 1:00 p.m. Cancellations must be made 6:00 p.m. of the day of intended arrival.
